This is one of two headquarter locations. The other is in Langley, VA, run by his two physics compadres from Princeton, Jim Jefferson and Will Halloran.As the story opens, Will Halloran is leaving his Langley lab late of an evening, loaded down with folders and papers. As he fumbles with his car keys, he is shot dead by an unknown assailant, who slices his trouser pocket, removes his wallet and disappears.
